What will you do?

 As a full stack developer, you'll contribute to the heart of our platform. You work on both the front-end and back-end and directly influence our mission to improve the housing market. Your tasks include:

·       Creating new features: Develop scalable backend systems and user-friendly interfaces.

·       Creating scalable infrastructure: Collaborate with the team to design and improve infrastructure that can grow with us.

·       Improving the platform: Ensure a seamless experience for our users.

·       Integrating systems: Work with APIs and data sources from other sources to enrich our platform.

·       Collaborating and learning: Work alongside a diverse agile team of developers, a designer, data scientists and a product owner.

Your first 3 months?

In your first few months at OPENRED, you’ll dive straight into shaping our new front-end, built with Next.js. This front-end is an extension of our current platform, which is built on viktor.ai, and marks the first step toward our own fully custom platform.

You’ll be working on:

·       Contributing to our greenfield front-end project developing new features from the ground up

·       Improving performance and scalability on our Python back-end service and SQL data layer.

Beyond coding, you'll actively contribute ideas and collaborate with fellow developers on the transition strategy toward a fully independent platform. Your input will help shape both the technical foundation and the broader product direction.

Who are you?

You bring a passion for building technology with impact. We’re especially looking for someone with around 4+ years of experience, but if you have a solid foundation and are eager to learn, we’d still love to hear from you. Your experience include:

·       Knowledge of backend languages such as Python or Node.js

·       Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

·       An affinity for any cloud platforms, we use GCP.

·       You are proficient in front-end development on frameworks like React and Next.js.

Experience with GIS is a plus but not required.
